The figure at the centre of the constellation is ‘Charlie’, a fictional character, invented by the group. Charlie is the girl in the class who refuses to take part, who has a tendency become confrontational and then to storm out dramatically, whenever her Teacher attempts get her more involved in the lesson. The shapes surrounding Charlie represent the ideas, emotions and memories that float around her in the classroom.
