Making an Excited Emotion
Primary tabs
Here is a video of Alex taking about the Excited Emotion Flunstella shape, having only just build it. He made it using the papercraft net designed by pupils of Weather head High School as a part of the 'Flunstellas & the Future of Learning' project.
This shape, which was designed in Blender and then made into a papercraft net using Pepakura, was part of the 'Charlies thought Constellation' installation in the Fact Sculpture Hall, as a part of the 'Knowledge Lives Everywhere' exhibition.
Here is the Papercraft net that this shape was built with.

Here is the 3D model that the papercraft shape was made from. It can be viewed with MeshLab and edited with Blender.
Here is the Pepakura file, you view and edit it in Pepakura.
